What Is Foundayo?
Foundayo is the brand name for orforglipron, an oral GLP-1 medicine from Eli Lilly. Unlike Mounjaro and Wegovy injections, it is taken as a once-daily tablet.
It was authorised in the UK in August 2026 for weight management in eligible adults and certain adults with type 2 diabetes.
For weight management, it is approved for adults with a BMI of 30+, or 27–30 with a weight-related health condition. It is used alongside a healthy, reduced-calorie diet and physical activity.

How Does Foundayo Work?
